The exploitation of Lebanese workers, a new way of slavery
Low wages for Lebanese Workers

The exploitation of Lebanese workers is a major problem in Lebanon, since the country’s lax labor laws have made it easy for private businesses to exploit the country’s workforce. Moreover, Foreign and Arab corporations are exploiting Lebanon’s cheap labor force by paying them lower wages. There are many cases where these workers are not paid on time or they get paid less than the minimum wage.

Lebanon has been going through a lot of economic turmoil for the past few years. The country’s economy has been declining with the increase in inflation rates, unemployment rates and low wages, which means that most people who work are not able to find jobs in their field. This leads to exploitation of Lebanese workers by Lebanese private businesses, and by foreign and Arab corporations.

The private sector has been paying lower wages to Lebanese citizens than they do to foreigners. This is because they are not required by law to pay the same wage for locals and foreigners. In Lebanon, the average wage is about $300 a month. The Lebanese government has been trying to curb the exploitation of low wage workers by making sure that they are paid at least $200 a month. This is not enough to cover basic needs for a family of 4.

Furthermore, the Lebanese economy is heavily dependent on remittances from Lebanese expats, which have been reduced due to the economic and financial crisis. This has led to a significant drop in the purchasing power of Lebanese citizens, which has affected foreign and Arab businesses that are paying lower wages for Lebanese workers, and providing them with substandard working conditions.

In the past, Lebanese people were in high demand for being among the most educated in the region and have high skills. They also have a high level of experience in various fields, which is why they should be getting high wages but, the wages for Lebanese workers have been steadily declining for the past few years.

This problem is not only affecting the welfare of Lebanese workers, but also their families and children. This is also reflected in deteriorating living standards as evidenced by high unemployment rates and increased poverty levels.

The Lebanese government has failed to provide protection for the workers. It has not taken any legal or administrative steps to make sure that corporations provide fair wages for all employees. In some cases, corporations are exploiting the Lebanese workforce and paying them below the minimum wage. The Lebanese government is not doing anything about this and it is not clear if they plan to in the future.
